Making change starts with knowing how to make your voice heard. This OTG helps you build practical ways to speak up about issues that matter, bring people together, and turn concerns into action.
You’ll learn to recognize different ways to advocate for change, understand when to use approaches such as petitions, community meetings, campaigns, and identify practical steps for getting others involved. You’ll also build confidence in choosing an approach that fits the issue and the change you want to see.
This course is for union members and activists who want to become more involved or make a difference on issues they care about. Whether advocacy is new to you or you’re looking for fresh ideas, you’ll find practical approaches you can start using right away.
