Course Overview

Garden Enthusiast: Micro-credential represents knowledge in the following 3 courses which are essential when starting a career in gardening:
  • Gardening Foundations
  • Garden Design
  • Pre-Apprenticeship Horticulturalist Program

Each of these courses will give you foundational knowledge about the field, starting from planting a seed and getting as far as to managing horticultural business. 

You do not need to retake these courses if you have already completed them.  After completing this program you have the option to share your credential electronically with employers, organizations and on social media (i.e. LinkedIn, Indeed and most other employment websites).
