It is a social issue that cuts across all people of all groups, and one that is prevalent in all levels of social and economic standing in human society.  It’s gender-based violence…and it can be prevented.  This course will discuss the changing attitudes of gender roles and stereotypes that make violence against women unacceptable. We will raise awareness of different types of violence, and how to create intervention strategies to reduce this level of violence for an important group in our society, our women.
